Hello world.

This is going to be my repository of thoughts, notes, news, and occasional snippets of R-code. Mostly dealing with my research topic, which is aging, oxidative stress, and bioinformatics. I think that the time has come for today's high-throughput genomics and proteomics technology and open source data analysis projects such as Bioconductor to be brought to bear on the most fundamental and crucial question in biology: "why do animals age?"
